Hiya! 👋

My name is David Cheung (張家瑋) and I'm a

video editor, motion designer, and journalist.

Born and raised in Hong Kong, I have always been drawn to the multi-ethnic, multi-cultural, and historically insightful stories that shape our world. Now residing in New York, whether I am filming a documentary about Chinese opera in Flushing, editing a video about the rise and fall of Macy’s, or animating a piece about underwater welding in Indonesia, I’m passionate about telling stories that are thought-provoking, educational, and important. I am particularly interested in projects that dive deeper into world issues, business, and sport. When I’m not working or nerding over software, I enjoy doing jiu jitsu, cycling with my friends, and cooking well-presented food.
